• Pen y Fan when I could barely stand.
• Snowdon, I was unable to walk for three days afterwards.
• The volcanic Highlands of Iceland.
• The highest peak in North Africa.
• And, five years after the crash, Everest Base Camp and the Sahara Desert.
I speak for those who have been told “no”.
I write for those who have been left for dead.
